Missilelock Posted November 16, 2007 Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 Does anyone have any experience in training bloodtrailing dogs?? its not legal (currently) here in Pa., but it is closeby in New York, & I dont think it would be illegal totrain my dog here in Pa. Anyway I bought my daughter a bloodhound last year cause she was craving a hound dog, & I would like to trail it to boodtrail, & could use some pointers. I saved all the blood , lungs, hearts & livers out of 4 deer in the freezer( wife not happy:)) Any tips?? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Someone once told me to lay down a trail of blood, then at the end put a reward for the dog and praise the dog when they get to the end.
