arrow32
Either have a huge mouse in the garage or something. Went out to check the mouse trap tonight before dad left for work and it was gone:eek::eek: How in the heck did it just craw off with something like that stuck on it. Maybe its going to chew off a leg or something. When I was trapping muskrat one time I had one do that. Crazy little fellers wonder what that mouse is going to do. Or whatever the world it is. OJR
I think you might have caught a rat and it wouldn't slow down one bit with a mouse trap on it's foot! LOL!!

WaCoyote
I've had them snap the tail and the mouse runs off with the trap. Especially glue traps.

wtnhunt
Could have just got its tail Cody. Have had traps get a good ways from where the mouse tripped them, usually the mouse in those cases had a non life ending snap. Got a huge problem with mice in our garage right now, have caught at least one a day for the past two weeks:eek:
birdhunter39
the next trap you buy tie a piece of fishing line to it and tie the other end of the line to a table leg or leave it on the fishing reel or buy a rat trap or just sit in the garage with the pellet gun and wait until it comes out
Tominator
I've seen a few trip a trap without getting killed. Another possibility would be a chipmunk. I've seen and caught a few munks in my day.

Airman312
I've had them snap the tail and the mouse runs off with the trap. Especially glue traps. We have several glue traps around the garage as well, one day had the doors open and was working...never saw our female cat come in. All at once there was a ruckus like no tomorrow and we seen her go flying out of the garage with one of those traps glued to her right rear leg.:D:D..funniest thing i ever saw. my wife and i hurt we laughfed so long:rolleyes: it took about half hour for my wife to catch her so we remove it...what a mess. By that time, she had it all over her:eek:
