coles
when i get a trail cam that is the first thing im goin to do with it. There is grizzlies everywhere up at my girlfriends place and when they have a cow die i will put the cam on a fence post. They had a cow die about a month ago and it was one in a night and a half! elkoholic
There were an incredible number of encounters between hunters and grizzlies this year. The incident mentioned in Whitefish was a Fish and Game commissioner shooting from the hip at a charging grizzly and possibly wounding it. Here is a link to that story: http://www.dailyinterlake.com/articles/2007/11/27/news/news02.txt I has been a relatively mild winter so far and the big bears have yet to go into hibernation and as long as there is food available they will stay out on the prowl. Many of the bears feed on gut piles from hunting kills and have even attacked and killed a hunter dressing out the elk he shot. Those are some great pictures and it is not like he baited the bears.
