hoytman26
For those of you who have never tried deep frying your deer steak, you need to try. I use mccormicks golden dip to bread it up with and use pioneer brand gravy. Deep fry it at 375 for 5 to 5 1/2 minutes. Its sooooooo good. Try it and let me know what you think. wtnhunt
Yep, good stuff. We usually do tenderloins seasoned and lightly breaded, and use a southern style white pepper gravy. We have done steaks the same way before too and it is very good.
PotashRLS
Does the deepfrying help with making the meat more tender too or not? I assume you serve it with the gravy over the meat with your other fixings. Sounds pretty good.
Guest Andrea
The only way I can get the TENDERloins tender is by lightly beating them with a coke bottle before seasoning them and coating them with flour.
OJR
How about trying a good marinade? This makes the meat tender and adds some great flavor!
wtnhunt
Does the deepfrying help with making the meat more tender too or not? We fry ours in canola oil in an electric skillet, but pretty well the same as deep frying. The tenderloins are always very tender this wa and never require any tenderizing. Dubie
I prefer to grill mine over charcole briquettes. Though when it gets realy cold, I'll do some up in a pan with olive oil...
