I was 8 with a gun

12 with a bow

My brother was 6

and 10

My cousin is diffrent 5 with a bow and 6 with a gun.

I shot a lot of rabbits, ducks, pheasants and fox, between 8 years old to 16 years old. I think I was 17 when I shot my first big game, which was a cow moose (.308). That was fun.

I didn't get into Bow-hunting until about 15 years ago.

I started gun hunting when I was 12 and got my first deer when I was 13. I started bowhunting when I was 13 and got my first deer with a bow that same year.

Lots of ducks from age 12 onward.

Can't remember rifle for deer exactly - probably about age 25.

But first archery deer was at age 50. Wish I'd gotten into archery many years sooner.

i think i got my first rabbit at 7. my first big game was a deer at 17or 18. really don't remember.

I started hunting small game at 9 shot my first deer at 15 and started bow hunting at 18,upland birds and waterfowl at 23.

My Dad didn't hunt so there was no outdoor influence from that direction, and I grew up in NYC, so how much hunting goes on there? Maybe the cops...but thats different:p.

My cousins husband got me started at 24 and there was no looking back. I hunted 6 years before I even saw ANYTHING. Then my 1st deer was a 4 pt gun buck at 30 years old and I have connected every year since then:).

I started with the bow 7 years ago. Successful on my 1st bow hunt!

I have been blessed with 3 sons who all have been growing up in " the life" since they could walk.

My oldest(16) took a nice 95" buck this bow season.

Still waiting on my first bow turkey, although I just started last year...

I was 16 for my first deer and on my first trip.

Killed my first deer with a rifle in 1967. First one with a bow in either 81 or 82. Had to hang the bow up after one season due to a shoulder injury and didn't pick one back up until 2006. Killed my second bow buck that year.
