rhine16 Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 Started bow hunting October 1, 1998, was 10 at time. Killed first bow deer December of 03, so i was 14. Started gun hunting November of 98. Killed first deer, 8 point, on December 22, 1998. Middle brother started gun hunting when 7 and killed first buck on his first hunt.(BTW-this is the one that i posted a story on with an 8 that scored 122 from this year) He started bow hunting when he was 11 and killed first buck on his first bow hunt.(BTW- he has only bow hunted a handful of times since then.) Youngest brother started this year. He's 6. Killed his first buck day after thanksgiving. That hunt is document as "Guided two first kills in two consecutive evenings" in the deer hunting room. My dad picked it up later on in his life when I was around 20, so that's when I started hunting. Killed my first deer, an 8 point that same year that I began.
