My 2007 hunting brief

Now it was a great season this year harvested my biggest buck to date and have hunted maybe the most I've ever hunted in one season well probly not. Anyway it came with its ups and downs. Starting with me only seeing nice bucks in bow season with them never coming in range. Then me missing a 4pt 1 week before gun season opened up.

We went into gun season and I harvested my best buck to date a great 9pt.:D:D With katy's dad and made some more great memories.

Then I bowhunted with no more luck at getting a deer down until ML season started. Was able to ML hunt 2 days and no luck saw alot of deer but no shots.

Hunted down at the bow shop and shot twice in ten minutes with my buddy Kyle right above me in the same tree. I missed the first and didn't think much about it she ducked the arrrow. Then about 5 to 10 minutes later 2 more doe walked in I pulled back on the biggest one and played some string music. She got hit hard and fell down drug her self off and we looked for hours on end and never found her.:( I was sick over that I looked forever with no luck.

Now its December 30th and tomorrow is the last day of bow season I have to work tomorrow night but am going to try to hunt tomorrow morning.

Theres my brief.:)

Sounds like a good one to me Cody. Definitely nothing wrong with that buck! The deal with the doe happens to us all, just like the miss with the 4 point (I speak of both with veteran experience ;)). I know it sucks for season to end, but it wont be long before you're perched back in a stand. Congrats on a great season.
