Hear a vehicle coming up the drive. It's the father-in-law. He's coming to deliver a big, honkin' stick of venison sausage that was in the smokehouse like.........3 minutes before. That man makes a MEAN venison sausage. Now if I could just keep his 3 year old grand-daughter off my plate of meat & crackers........... You'll just have to imagine the chilled barley pop and the smell of hickory, sassafras and apple wood smoke that has overtaken the area around my computer.
