Randy
what did you want them for??My Proshop asked me to call them to try and convince them to let my proshop carry their line. Mathews has a boundry that they follow and we are like 2 miles inside of that. My Proshop talked to them a few times and can't seem to get a straight answer from them. Mathews told them to get established a couple years ago as they have only been open for 3 1/2 years. I understand that, but I think Mathews is missing out on a real oppurtunity. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
oh...I don't know why they wouldn't agree to let them sell them at your proshop. there are two stores i know of that I can GUARANTEE aren't 25 miles apart. And this place is only around 15 miles apart.
okiedog
Man I wish my dealer was that close. I drive 60 miles to my Mathews dealer:(.
Randy
I think that "back in the day" Mathews probably had the best bow on the market. With today's bows there really isn't a bad one out there. I would think with some of the other companies really coming on strong they would want to up their sales opportunities. VermontHunter
I hope you get that return call Randy,, and Mathews see's fit to fill your Proshops' request to carry thier line of bows .... Good Luck ...
stevebeilgard
i think that you will indeed get a call back. but, i don't think they will bend the rules much, so don't count on a nearby pro shop. but, who knows....

Seems to me Mathews would want to compete on sales with these other brands .. ;) I think with some good presuation on your part they just might see the light .. Don't give up and be persistant .. Randy
Well, it's 10 minutes to 6 here and I would imagine I won't be getting a call anymore today.

I can tell you first hand that you may get a call from them ... but probably will be a rep and you will still get the boundry story ... I know first hand as I deal with it all the time ... we have 2 mathews dealers here in Des Moines one on the West side of town and one on the East side of town ... and there is absolutely no wiggle room ... Ross is even worse ... they have ONE dealer and that is it period no discussion about it. Good luck and just give the lines you do have the absolute best service you can and that will win over some of them other mathes guys ... it all comes full circle. arrow32
Good luck with getting them! That boundary crap can be rather stupid sometimes.
wtnhunt
Good luck with it Randy. Where we used to have only one bow shop in the town south of here about 30 minutes away, we now have 4 within just about 10 minutes apart of each other. Not sure if all of them carry all the same brands or not though.
PotashRLS
It's too bad you want to patronize a Wisconsin company and they blow you off because of 2 miles. You would think they would want to get as many of their bows out there as they can, especially with the huge number of bowhunters here in Wisconsin. Thats how big business works. Guest Finn
I'd log on and post something on the Mathews' forum: http://forums.mathewsinc.com/index.php I had a problem with the cable on my XT and a tech came on and helped out right away. Also, the dealer I bought my XT from didn't register it with the company, and a guy fixed that too
Randy
Well, day two and still no phonecall. I called them and apparently he is out for the day. So,.....I asked for someone else in "new accounts" and left a message with her. That was almost 2 hours ago. I'd imagine that they are sooooo busy that they don't have time for an average joe.
