Rem308
Well this morning I got up early and went out squirrel hunting...It was in the teens when I got out there, so I walked in and found a good spot to sit by a log. I sat for a while and nothing was moving except 3 does came through and fed a little. They went on and then I saw a Gray Squirrel up in the top of a tree. He was jumping around a good bit but finally settled down and offered a good shot of around 70 yards or so. After the shot, I sat still but couldn't see any others. I think the snow on the ground kept the squirrels up in the treetops, but it was still a blast sniping this little guy.

Rem308
Thanks guys, I went out and waxed a few more...I'll post them in a minute. I'm shooting a Marlin Model 882 chambered in .22 WMR. I put a cheaper BSA 3X9X40 on it and I really like this rifle. I wasn't sure how I'd like the scope but I couldn't afford to put much more on it...I can tell you now I'm very pleased with it. The rifle shoots great off the bipods and that really makes hunting squirrels addictive.
