OJR
my quarter of the buffalo is safely in the freezer! Those steaks sure look good! This is the way to "hunt" a buffalo. One phone call to order what you want, one phone call for cutting instructions, one trip to go and pick it up! Beautiful drive yesterday and we went through 3 different states, Idaho, Washington and Oregon! Lots of snow in Oregon, but the roads were great! We stopped and had lunch in Enterprise, OR and picked the meat up in Wallowa, OR!
preacherman
how many pounds of meat did you end up getting out of that 1/4? I have had buffalo once and was very impressed!

OJR
I didn't weigh what we got! I know it filled 2 shelves in our 27 cu. ft. freezer! The grill is going to be real busy this summer! It was one beautiful drive, both going over and coming back! I put on about 250 miles round trip!
