April 9th is the deadline for applying for elk, deer, antelope, ibex etc. New Mexico draw is unique from most states as everyone has an equal chance, no preference or bonus points are used. You can apply on line for just an $8.00 per critter type charge using a credit card. If drawn they will then charge the full amount to your card.
