We've got one guy here at work that doesn't wear deodorant. Not a good thing going into the hot summer months....:eek:

Another guy here obviously doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom. The toilet flushes and he is immediately out the door....:o

These guys are electrical engineers, highly educated individuals. :confused:

Anybody else out there work with swine?

Glad I'm so perfect.....:cool:

Guest Andrea

I couldn't work with someone who didn't wear deodorant. I would have to say something.

Speaking of which, as soon as I found out Matthew McConaughey didn't wear deodorant....my "admiration" for him quickly changed. Cause I don't care how gorgeous you are....if you stank......you tank.:o:rolleyes:

I think we need more information. Therefore, I believe you are going to need to do some in depth research for us. For the gentleman not washing his hands, is this after.... let's call it No. 1 or No. 2? This is important research that is needed. I don't believe pics are required though, we will take your eyewitness account verbally, well actually written.

If it is after No. 2, I would tend to agree with you that is could be considered NASTY. However, if you are talking No. 1, this gentleman could be a Texan, you see, in Texas, our momma's teach us boys to be careful where we aim and not to get it on our hands, therefore, washing would not be required. If he is a Texan, I suggest you go up and shake his hand and tell him how lucky you are to know somebody from that great State. On the other hand though, if he is a down home ohio boy, you might want to tactfully asked him, when he exit's the restroom area, if he forgot to dry his hands, since you can see they are still wet. Maybe he will get the hint.

Will be waiting for you to get back to us with the conclusions from your research. :D:D:D

Yes! :mad: But you can always ask the wife for any old perfume that she doesnt wear anymore. Then just give him a blast when he comes around. When he ask you why you did this, tell him! LOL!

As far as the bathroom people, wait till he is at lunch, then ask him how his poop tastes! LMBO!!! Pigs!!!

:eek::rolleyes::eek::rolleyes::eek:

We have a few people that never wash either, I wait till they are at lunch, then ask how your poop tastes! They get the idea right away! Funny, they seem to wash their hands now! LOL!

You have to tell the guy who stinks to high heaven or live with it. I worked with a guy who used to come in smelling like he just rolled around in summer road kill. After more than a few bags of soap, shampoo and deodorant greeting him at his work station he got the message.;)

No hope for the guy who runs from the bathroom without washing his hands. Same guy sits by himself at lunch. :D

We have a whole ton of those guys...they are called "incarcerated" and they are mostly a nasty group. One time this guy Dana came to court so ripe that I about gagged. The judge came in and started court and right away I asked to approach and said even though you usually do this in alphabetical order, you have to call Dana W. first 'cause he's making my eyes water. The judge sniffed (from 30 feet away) and said, "Oh man, is that him I smell?" He went first and went home. Later that night he got arrested again, and they would not take him in the jail until the arresting officer took him out to the sally port and hosed him down. True story.

Umm, thanks for sharing this with us Tom.:p:rolleyes: LOL.

...TeeHee...that's what I thought...:rolleyes::D

...anyway...Solution:-apply Vick's Vapor Rub under your nose...

-Also....deoderant is highly over rated...-You know, maybe try to get this guy to add a bunch of real butter to his lunch...-Have I mentioned before that eating large amounts of butter prevents body odor??:)

-It's true...!

-now....a side thought...(I know this wouldn't apply to you...and probably doesn't help the situation...but-)-a male's body odor actually aids in the propogation of the species...you see...there is a chemical substance called PHEROMONES that is secreted and intermingled with the body odor, to cause the female to just stop right there, drop what she's doing, and - um, well- become receptive, you know.

So:...there is a positive purpose to body odor...why someone has more than another...is one of Life's exciting mysteries...:confused::rolleyes::D;)

Oh man I could tell some stories about people who stink in the Air Force. Mostly it is our young airmen that have just come in. There were two times specifically that I dreaded having to counsel these airmen, and mostly it consists of just pulling them into an office and telling them they have 1 hour to go home, shower, put on a clean uniform, and not stink when they return. But the two in particular (1 male, 1 female) will always stick in my mind. Both kids, the male I pulled into the office after 7 people came up to me before I could even get to him telling me he stinks. When I got up to him it was a cross between B.O. and feet. He said "my feet sweat, what do you want me to do about it?" I lost it and said "Didn't your daddy teach you to to bathe and care for your boots?" He said, "My dad died when I was a kid." I felt about two feet tall, but had to take him and show him how to properly care for his uniform and how to keep his boots from stinkin'. Apparently this kid's mom is real piece of ****. So we have had to re-raise him (even after basic training) and so far he is turning out ok. The girl on the other hand had a problem with B.O. and I had to bring in another female NCO to counsel her with me. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think I would have to talk to a girl about hygiene. In the end, she walked out crying. Turns out she was manic depressive and ended up getting the boot for a host of reasons including doing "sexual favors" for money from other airmen. She was weird too. Carried around a set of lug nuts she got from Jeff Gordon's pit crew, and was infatuated with him in a stalkerish way..."Oh, Jeff! One day you'll be mine!" Creepy.

Any of you military guys on here should have about a bazillion stories about "odoriforous" individuals. Sometimes I wish we could still do things like my dad did when he was in the military...Counseling only works to a point....

there are low life dirtbags in all walks of life. if someone stinks, i generally speak up and tell them. i've actually switched tables in a restaurant because of odors. i'll simply tell the waitress that the person next to me is ruining my meal so i either move or leave. i just don't put up with odors...
