Darron
With my new teaching position, my time in the woods was cut back quite a bit. I did manage to get out a couple times. I ended up taking two jakes. I usually don't shoot jakes, but when you can only get out a handful of times, you take what you can get. It's funny how a job can interfere with hunting:rolleyes: It was a sure shell shocker to go from hunting 12+ days last year while in college to less than 5 days this year. One of the jakes was taken on my own farm, which was pretty neat.

Tominator
I feel your pain. I'm a teacher too, and with a 12 o'clock quit time, it's tough to find time for morning hunts. We make up for it during deer season when we can go out after school when the other poor saps have to work.

maytom
Don't feel too bad. Even with some vacation time, my work schedule, and the weather, I was out only 5 mornings this season. An all time low for me!! Took one on opening day, but couldn't get one to commit the rest of the season. They would sound off early in the morning, then when they hit the ground they would go silent!! Talk about henned up!! I couldn't even provoke a hen into a verbal fight!! Tuff season.
