buckee
Backyard Blacktails I caught a beautiful 4x4 on film in the neighbour's yard last night. The first 10 pics didn't turn out, because my card had popped out, and I missed a whole bunch of 4 to 6 ft away pictures. I snuck up along my 6' fence, in my socking feet, as he ate the neighbour's flowers and bushes on the other side. Kick myself for not getting those pictures. I did manage to get these when he was on the other side of the yard, after fixing my card problem. He's going to be nice, come fall. This fella lays in the same spot almost every day
aksheephuntress
...Steve...-these pictures are incredible!....-hard to believe you were even closer than this- ( I know you were, though-) -yes, it was a bummer that the card popped out on those earlier, closer pics...-but these are awesome...a lot closer and clearer than I thought they would be.... -my favorite is the buck standing up on that flatbed trailer.. -...and you never know....maybe your neighbor got some pics of you making the stalk, in your stocking feet..... ...great pictures, Steve! Tominator
Good pics Sherman. He will be a nice one. Agree with Kathleen, it would have been nice to see a pic of you sneaking in your socks.

buckee
cool pics Steve!! Isn't it amazing how close we are allowed sneak to them during the off season but come season it all changes..:D Yes, it sure is. It's makes you wonder if they can sense some sort of invisible chemistry, going on. Of course, the breeze was just perfect last night too, and the socking feet sure helped. Maybe I should dig out my old, elk hide, mukluks for hunting this season. They are nice and quiet.

wtnhunt
Nice pics Steve, looks like a really nice blacktail. The one with the deer using the trailer to reach is a really cool shot too.
Squirrelhunter91
If you ask me, he's standing on the trailer because he wants to go for a ride. Give him one in the back of your truck!!!
