LifeNRA
After shooting the bow the last few nights, I noticed my peep moving up. So I re-served the peep. As I was melting the ends down, I got too close to the string. It is now frayed on one or two strands. I still shot it, it seems fine, but I just don't know. Tonight, I re-served it again just to see how far the damage was. This time, I used a soldering iron that has a fine tip on it. Worked great! I also added this in the tip section here. Might take a little longer, waiting for it to heat up. But this way you won't have that flame flickering around as you melt the ends down! Besides it is way more accurate with a fine point! Switchback29A1
Just depends on how bad you think it hurt the string, just don't want your hand to be in the next picture from where something exploded.
