You can check out the Texas Parks and Wildlife website that has info on a few places to hunt, not sure if any of them are close to you, though. Most hunting in Texas is done one of two ways, either you own the land, or you get on a hunting lease. Your local newspaper should have a section in the want ads that list hunting oportunities. Some are under control of the TPWD and they have their rules, some is NFS and they have their's, some is in WMA's and they have their own rules.
