VABuckSlayer
Another awesome race by KB! He put a great move on JJ to win number 7. If it wasn't for that last caution flag then JJ would have probably won going away but he couldn't hold off Busch in the 2 lap shootout! Congrats to KB!! Man that kid can drive!!!

The_Kat
I hate busch, but he didn't have the best car by a long shot and still drove for the win. I cant stand the guy, but he actually earned this one.

OJR
I was at the Legion convention, so I didn't see any of the race!
Randyman
Thank God the parity NASCAR was hoping for with the COT is working for them.

I've heard 15-20. Nevertheless... JGR has set the bar. There're working under the same rules as everyone else and they've made a better product. Eventually the rest of the makes will catch up but... JGR has the best driver!

The last two races all the toyotas have pushed over 50 more hp that the other teams. It was a big discussion at the last daytona race. Hate to disagree with ya lol, but I wanted to point that out
snapper
I heard 22 more hp...however, if that is true, how come the other Toyota's aren't winning 7 races? Heck the #20 car is from the same garage with (IMO) a better driver and he isn't winning races! I just think Kyle has something to prove to Rick Hendrick and turned up his game this year. Lets face it...Kyle has gotten more money for Joe and JD Gibbs this year so far than Dale Jr. has gotten for Rick Hendrick. I don't like Kyle Busch either (not because he drives a Toyota) but he is flat out driving this season and no one can take that away no matter what they think. bigbearguy
I don't see what the big deal is about the HP #'s that the Toyotas have. Nascar makes the rules and teams play within those rules. If Toyota did their homework and are able to achieve anywhere from 15-60 HP more than the other manufacturers then they should reap the rewards of that. The other manufacturers are now playing catch up and thats the way it should be. If Dale Jr. was driving a Toyota and winning races like Kyle is, this would be a non-issue on this site. Heck the #20 car is from the same garage with (IMO) a better driver and he isn't winning races! Do you watch the races snap? The other toyotas might not be winning as much but there is always 5-7 in the top ten all race long. Bushs team has just had the better strategy at the end to pull off the wins. As far as Tony goes.........I kind of have a hunch he really doesnt want to put a stinkin toyota in victory lane. Chevrolet has done so much to get him where he is at today....Chevrolet sponsors his Aldora Speedway and all his sprint cars. He couldnt get out of Gibbs for this year so I think hes just trying to ride it out until he can get the heck out of there. What really busts my butt is that last year a toyota couldnt even qualify for a race. This year after the help from nascar that they admitted giving the toyota program, toyota can run more horsepower than the other manufacturers and all of a sudden its all toyotas up front. Just like at Daytona, kyle bush got on the apron and went to the tail end of the pack and drove his way through the field effortlessly without any drafting help!!!!!! There is no way ever that he should have been able to drive through that field and win that race that easily without some type of advantage. Nascar is all about the money and its pretty obvious toyota has the pocket book the way I look at it. Then you go back to Dale JR. I don't know how many times I've heard that he doesnt have the talent and cant drive like his old man and will never be as good as Jeff Gordon........Well look now....hes driving Hendrick equipment, the same as the #24 and #48 and hes ahead of both of them in the standings. It isn't all about the driver........the equipment has more of a role in it than anything.

I don't think that is a true statement, Dale Jr. makes more money in souvenior sales and appeals more to sponsors than Kyle does and you know Hendrick gets a cut of that money. Whos mugg shot do you see in ads for the sport and in commercials? He is fan friendly. Kyle is an arrogant punk that for a sponsor is a hard sell and something you really can't market like a Dale Jr. Dale Jr. is a marketing icon, they are making millions off the new #88 gear and that is making Hendrick a ton more money than Gibbs is getting. Winning races pays good money but the majority is from souvenoir and sponsorship deals and everyone wants a part of Jr. Just go to a NASCAR race, Jr. has more than one hauler just for souvenoirs for fans. Most drivers only have 1!! Who's mugg shot do you see on this site? Even Realtree loves using Dale Jr. as a marketing tool! As for the Toyota deal, something very fishy there, from cars that could not even make the show to now winning and running up front consistently. Just has that look that NASCAR is giving them things other makes are not getting.
AdvantageTimberLou
This is a guy I know who works for Rusty Wallace on his Nationwide Teams. Here is his quote, "We had a Team meeting this morning, Rusty said that the Toyotas were 25-30 HP better than Our RCR Chevrolet engines, Nascar is Dynoing 10 Toyota Motors this week, Sounds like they will get Detuned alittle, Hopfully We will Be able to Run The R07 engines next year in the Nationwide series, that will even things up" For those of you not familiar with the R07, its the new Chevrolet engines in the NASCAR Sprint cup series. Distributors in the the front and fuel pumps running off the rear of the engine.
snapper
Quote As far as Tony goes.........I kind of have a hunch he really doesnt want to put a stinkin toyota in victory lane. I don't buy that...Tony wants to win every race he's in no matter what kind or make of car. Thats what these guys love to do. I agree Tony wasn't happy about the whole deal...but I honestly don't think he'd throw a race for anything. As for the money...I was refering to racing. Busch has made more money for Gibbs than Jr. has for Hendrick. I believe (not positive) the drivers get most if not all $ dealing with marketing their picture and/or signature. Sponsor stuff...not to sure. The drivers sign a contract with the owners for set money and with bonuses for winning, finishing in chase and winning championships. I'm not a Jr. hater...but he still hasn't won anywhere close to the number of races the 24, 48 or even the 3...let alone close to a championship. So even though he maybe ahead of the 24 and 48 in points right now...the season isn't over and he still hasn't proved anything yet.
