Re: Are they worth the money $$ ?

I have shot many different types of stabilizers, from target bars for 3-d and indoor to various hunting stabilizers. The one I keep putting on my hunting bow, year after year, is my 5 inch rubber Doinker. Its totally silent, absorbs lots of noise and vibration, and adds little weight to my overall set-up.

This works great for me bowhunting, Give one a try. You can get them starting around $30 bucks or so, and up.

I got an $8 vib dampener from Wal Mart and it works better than my $50 doinker. I was thrilled to notice this and will never buy over priced junk like the high priced stabilizers again.

Isn't those made by Doinker? I could have sworn I saw on the package, Doinker Flex, ?

Re: Are they worth the money $$ ?

Honestly I dont believe that an expensive stabilizer will make much difference in the hunting woods. Maybe on the target range...no doubt...definitely on the target range it will.

I have an older model X-Ring Hydraulic stabilizer...nothing fancy and if I remember right it was not that expensive either.

The deer that I had to shoot at with it died from high speed metallic/carbon injections wink.gif

Like I said...nothing fancy...but effective!

I only bowhunt and don't use one a stabilizer. I bought one and didn't notice enough difference and sold it. Don't use a peep either.

At 20 yards, just don't see the need to spend the extra money.
