Maybe do some bow shooting and have a cook out or something like that, kinda a kick of the season thing. Would like to see this happen sometime in September... ANYONE from the forum is welcome. dartonman Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 I have access to the Byron Stone Quarry Skateboard park, they have pavilions, and we could eat there, AFTER WE BATTLE EACH OTHER IN PAINTBALL.....I run a couple great fields, and have 20 guns, masks, chest protectors for the "frail"...lol....all gear provided, just need food ideas, and such.....this is also open to anyone that can come out and meet and greet, we will make it happen.....if you want to see the gear I use..aka paintball guns, its on my site www.portablepaintballparty.com no cost to come and meet forum members, and play paintball.....the fields are at the Stone Quarry outside of Byron, Illinois. I hope anyone and everyone that can make it comes. It should be a blast!! I dunno what anyone wants to eat but I know I have a freezer FULL of venison that I need to get rid of. Im willing to throw the venison in for free for any and all. September will be here and gone b4 we know it so anyone that wants to start throwing out dates to have this feel free. I would like to try and be flexible so any and all that want to make it can. I know we cant make everyone happy but I would like to try the best we can to have a great turnout! We have a HUGE public hunting area located within 5 miles of me and I will guarantee you guys would love it. Maybe we can all get together and hunt for a weekend??? PM and we can talk about it. Its open to the public and theres some HUGE deer in there. (Im sure you already know that) I saw 45 deer on an evening hunt one night. That sounds like a great idea as well! I know right across the mississippi in Keokuck there is a nice Holiday inn to stay at aswell. I have tons of family down there. Crazylegs did you ever go to Bud and Joyces resturant in Hamilton? I know that I have a broken foot right now, but come october I will be ready to rock....If you guys want to arrange something let me know. I got to caught up in watchin a few does feeding and messing around. Saw 2 shooter bucks but nothin in range. My dad used to hunt kibbys way b4 it was kibbys. I am not for sure how many are left, but it says you can still apply online or call phone number. If you want to go ahead and get them, I will go with whoever shows. It is close enough to me that it doesnt matter.
