coles Posted August 23, 2008 Report Share Posted August 23, 2008 for hunting season that is...i am so ready. i wake up at night just wishing i was gettin up early that morning to chase the elk of the big bucks. my buddy and i have been out scouting for deer and elk almost every night for the past 2 weeks and have been seein whitetail bucks in the 160-170" class every time we go out. we have seen some bigger too. we have seen about 75 head of elk a couple nights ago but no big bulls. just cows spikes and one tiny rag horn. we have been shooting out bows every chance we get to. man the suspense it killing me. only 2 weeks left till bow season opens though!!!!!!!!! it cant come soon enough. and to top it off my buddy will be goin to school in Havre this year and got a place to bow hunt on the Milk River. Next time he is up there he is goin to ask the landowner if i can come up and hunt to. so im keepin my fingers crossed for that one. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
