Switchback29A1
Which one of yaull here had the bright idea of having just about a full moon in the sky on the night before opening day? Anyway..thanks, those of us who can only hunt the morning really appreciate it! lol. Who knows...maybe we'll get lucky, and good luck to everybody else making that opening day trip tomorrow. m gardner
We hunted with the moon out all night a few weeks ago and saw lots of bucks. They were bedded at day break, but their bellies start to get empty after 6 to 8 hours and they have to put something in them. So about 1:00 they would get up to feed a bit. Then be up at twightlight. Keep the 6 to 8 hour interval in mind when hunting. Mark
