ildrhntr
Some days I really don't enjoy my work because of the things I have to see but then there are days like today that rock. I came in today at 4pm and found out I was in charge so I got to pick my area that I work in so I picked the area of the county where I hunt. It isn't often I get paid to sit and watch deer and of course make traffic think I am running radar.....

ildrhntr
Not in Illinois ......we had a guy who did that, he is retired now.......DNR wrote him a citation and the Sheriff suspended him without pay for 3 days.........The only time my spot light comes on is in the course of duty...... BowtechTurkeyHunter
Didn't know that was your law there we can spitlight but we better not have any type of weapon in our vehicle ... not many do it cause they don't want the grief. I just rely on trail cameras lol Steve

Jeramie
This time of the year that sounds like a great job! Ive been watching the fields for a month or so already but things are really starting to change weather wise. It wont be long and the deer will be out of the tree lines! BowtechTurkeyHunter
We have too much corn in the fields so its really hard to see anything till the corn gets harvested ... and with the wet year we have had ... that's probably not going to be till middle of November.
