From what I gather, the package had his address on it, but not his name (Shipped to: Cabelas). Therefore, it truly was not his to open (think there are Federal mail laws against that). So, in essence, he shouldn't have even opened the package to begin with.

Anyway...just felt like playing with this situation a little...no harm meant.

But seriously, read the original post, they found Cabelas name on the packing slip inside the box, not on the outside of it.

Doesn't sound like the guy expects anything. But anyone appreciates being recognized and thanked for doing the right thing when most people wouldn't have.
