Building a blind

Hey everyone. I was thinking about building my own blind that can fit about 3-4 people. I was thinking I would make it portable but I dont know of thats possible. I was thinking about making it out of chain link fence and wrapping it in the Avery real grass material. How would any of you make a blind? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Get yourself a few 1"X4"'s and make sort of an A shaped piece for the ends of the blind. Then take 2 longer pieces for each side of the blind at what ever length you choose. You will have to take a couple small pieces and make a "hook" on the outside of the "A" so your long ones can easily slide together. Put some metal hooks on the top boards to hook your grass to and your set.

Use hog panneling fence, its sturdier (splg) and can be folded to make it easier for transportation...cover it with fast grass, then find some native prairie grass or cat tails or corn or whatever you plan on hunting in or around and cover it again with that. We have been using blinds like this for years, they fold up nice, fit in a trialor or bed of a truck, and are pretty darn effective...i would not recomend using chain link fence, it will turn out to be a major headache. Use chicken fence for the top as a cover, if you are going to have 3 or 4 covers or lids.

hope this helps
