Shaun_300 Posted January 28, 2005 Report Share Posted January 28, 2005 Re: Shot for Pheasant #8 would work, but i would use 6 or 7 1/2 for pheasents. we dont have them up here, but we have partridge (ruffed grouse) and they are about the same sized bird as a pheasent, i shoot a remington 870 wingmaster, 26 inch barrel, full choke, and #6 shot. or for the remington 1100 20ga, 28" barrel, mod choke, i use #6 shot as well.
