Squirrelhunter91
Well.. hopefully the pre rut is underway here but with the temps the way they are today, I'm not sure how the deer are going to react. It's in the high 60's here today so I'm considering setting up near water and preparing for a shot at or just before last light. I'm gonna also put out some doe in estrous on a key wick and hope it works out. The deer sign back there is really crappy this year. I'll shoot a doe just the same as a buck. I'm not even going to be picky about bucks. If it's better than a spike, it's getting stuck. Wish me luck!!!
Guest Primetime/IL
Best of luck! If the rut is kicking in up there Id be setup just outside of doe bedding areas, 60's isnt overly warm IMO Its supposed to be high of 70's here today and through this week until thursday!! rhine16
Good luck Joe! Water may not be a bad decision, but I'd get as close to bedding area as possible.
Turkeygirl
Andy and I didn't see a deer yesterday morning or last night...and last night the temps dropped and we had a perfect wind, so I'm hoping you saw something up north.
