jbeck
I'm doing a sunday school lesson on what Love can do and I came across something that just gives me chills. I'm going to post the pics we recieved from China of our daughters, the beside them pics of them now. It is the best way I can show what love in a kids life will do for them. It blows my mind to see the looks on the kids faces when they are in the orphanage, then to see the smiles they give us everyday. Here is Carlee's pic from china. Here she is today. Here is the pic of Cadee we got from the orphanage. Here she is now. I'm telling you, I never fully understood Christ's love for me until I looked in that crib in China, November of 2003 and watched Carlee sleeping. Ok, I think I'm done now. I think the beetles said it best when they said ALL WE NEED IS LOVE. Jeff,

stevebeilgard
it's pretty simple, jeff. kids simply give what they get. at the orphanage, all they saw were workers getting the job done that they do daily. at home, they see love and caring. and lots of smiles. if you were a grump in the house all day, they would have a bad attitude also. but from their faces, they know they are loved, know god, and are happy. way to go. Dawg
Good post Jeff. The look on the Cadee's face in the first pic is heartbreaking. You can actually see the hurt in her face. But then you look at the expression on her face in the after pic and you can tell how MUCH the love you have given them has helped. Way to go man.
