I take it you are talking about the receipt your church sends you showing how much you gave. When you file electronically I am pretty sure you can submit your church contributions at that time. Look back and see what all was sent through when you e-filed. Unless it says otherwise somewhere onthe form you should not have to attach or send the receipt(or whatever form of paper is showing your contributions), but you do need to keep it for your records. I would think that wouldbe kind of like recording mileage, they ask if you have supporting evidence of your mileage but they do not expect you to send them in a logsheet.
