Chenango Dave
I first got into trail camming in 2004. There was one buck I got pics of for four years. My first pics of him I believe he was 2 and 1/2 years old - small basket but good mass. I got pics of him after the season - so I knew he made it through. The following year he was just an 8 (with a little sticker) - a little wider and more mass and tine length. 3 and 1/2 years old. From 3 and 1/2 to 4 and 1/2 is when he really put on the mass and points. Then his last year - he put on more mass but lost some points. He was killed opening morning of the 2007 gun season. The guy that shot him - it was his very first buck. Taxidermist aged him at 5 and 1/2. I have fun with these trail cams - taking deer pics and seeing how much they grow from year to year. Now I need to find me another to track after this season.
