crazylegz70
I was just wondering what you guys/gals do for a xmas tree? My girlfriend is avid on a real tree and I am a more of a box it up and put it away kinda guy. That is until I get the real tree into the house and see how nice it looks. I gave in this year and got a real one for her and now I love it....Thoughts? Ideas? Pictures?
NS whitetail
we always had a real pine tree every year until 2 years ago when we bought a already lit artificial tree. It is so much easier, so much cleaner and so much cheaper in the long run. A real pine Christmas tree was selling for $40 the last time I bought one
jbeck
FAKE, and I'm never going back to real. The artificial looks realistic, and no needles all over the floor.
c_lou
My family always goes to the tree farm and cuts one down. This year it was a nice Frasier fir. IMO , there is nothing like a fresh cut tree in the house.
unioncountyslayer
If you live in NC, it's a fir. NC is the 2nd largest producer of Christmas trees (frasier firs) in the country. I think they are the best looking Christmas trees. Anyway, we just got ours up last night and I will take some pics later this evening and post. NS whitetail
I should be ashamed buying a fake tree ( but my wife does get stuffed up with a real one ) This was in a newspaper today ---- ~~ Many believe that Nova Scotia's fragrant Balsam Fir is the perfect tree for Christmas bar none. Known for its dark green soft needles, symmetrical shape and its 'sooo good' aroma, the fragrant Balsam fir, as one grower puts it, "IS" Christmas. Apparently, buyers all over the world agree. They will purchase over 2 million Nova Scotia raised Christmas trees this year in testament to the province's honour of being 'the Balsam Fir Christmas Tree Capital of the World' Edited December 8, 2008 by NS whitetail
RangerClay
First and foremost, I do not have an Xmas tree. I have Christmas Tree. It is real and a blue spruce. I love the smell of a real Chritmas tree in the house. I could never bring myself to buy a fake one.

Flintlock1776
Fake, this way it matches the commercialization of the holiday and puts further distance from the real meaning of the day................
Shaun_300
We always get a real one, usually either a Scotch Pine or a Blue Spruce.
