okiedog
Have fun... but better you than me. I take a huge detour around that place when I'am up that way. Its not the same as it was back in the early 80's. Too over exposed.

Jeramie
BTW--what's put put??? The only golf I can play without offending women and small children. Seriously, Its golf set aside for those to "Special" to spell Putt Putt. However you spell it, they dont appreciate you driving a cart from hole to hole. And they fail to be impressed by 250yd drives. Edited December 11, 2008 by Jeramie

OJR
What all is there to do in Branson? Just a bunch of people spending money and think they are having fun! A tourist trap! I know several people who have gone there and after one or two times, they won't go back! I've never been there, but too many people and I would rather go to Tahoe or Reno before I would go there. In fact, I would rather go for a ride in the mountains before any of them!

I took off Saturday to move a tractor to the shop. You could have stopped by and help load it up. LMBO I think the wife and little one is going to SDC tomorrow morning. I don't usually go with them. Jeramie
What all is there to do in Branson? Tons of attractions. Silver Dollar City - All rides and attractions inclusive. Three roller coasters, two are really good. Water rides. Craftsmen of all sorts (glass blowers, iron workers, carvers, etc.). Shows, the best this weekend was A Christmas Carol. It was as good as a broadway production. They also have themed events, kids fest, world fest, etc. World fest being my favorite. They have tons of different foods and enertainment like steel drums, Russian Dancers, etc. Golf Courses everywhere both Putt Putt and actual 18 hole. A couple of water parks. Vegas style shows (magicians, comedy, music, dance, music and dance, etc.). Incomming enertainers like Alison Krauss. Tons of places to eat. The river walk (resuraunts, stores, street enertainers, bass pro, etc.). The Ducks - Old Amphibious military trucks that take you through Branson and then drive off into the lake. Showboat Branson Bell - The largest landlocked vessel in the world. Dinner and a show. Music/ dancing and comedy. Ripley's museum, wax museums, segway tracks, go kart tracks, etc. Way to much to list...

Jeramie
Sound fun, I went when I was a kid and we went to the presleys jubilee. Thats about all I remember Its still there but its not the same place it was when you were a kid. That place has grown by leaps and bounds.
