[/ QUOTE ] Think you are right on that Chris. Around here the only fields that I see that ever get limed are the ones where they use heavy amounts of what I am guessing is ammonium nitrate. Guest MarylandQDMA Posted February 2, 2005 Report Share Posted February 2, 2005 Re: lime I just talked to my local quary, they have lime that they sell, called high ag lime, for use on fields, it is 7.95 a ton! that is so cheap! sure it is a bit more work, but at that price who cares! that is .004 cents per pound! or .20 cents for 50lbs.! and I was going to pay 2.00 at the coop.
