How many of you guys are ready to give our coyote population some grief? You going to use dogs, calls, or some other method? Just remember, we are their only predator. There is a large population in and around our land in Sullivan county's 3H. Gut piles would be gone a couple of hours after it got dark and the howls came. Doc Posted December 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2008 Well, we lost most of our snow, and I really like snow on the ground for visibility. This warmer weather did give me a chance to site in my new Remington mod 700 SPS Varmint .223, so just a good coating of snow and I'm good to go. I'm really not that good at it, but every year I give it a good try. I've got the Fox-Pro too. I've called in quite a few foxes, but have yet to get a coyote to answer.
