A few months back, a 16 yo with his friend on the back hit a tree, killing the driver, critically injuring the passenger. A lot of people do not respect atv's. In Connecticut, all state forests are closed to any motorized vehicle. I can't tell you how many times, sitting in a tree stand, and a group of quads or dirtbikes comes flying through the forest. pocomoke is right in the most atv'ers it seems have no regard for private property, or other areas that it is illegal to ride in. At least here in Connecticut. Unfortunately, with all the crime today, people riding atv's illegally on private or state property is a low priority to the police or the DEP.
