But this is a short video of the winner, "Presley", an 18 month old Boxer from OK. Some of you know that I'm a Boxer owner (3), and to see this pup win made me proud to own the breed. buckee Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 I thought it was pretty obvious after watching the clip, that it wasn't really the dog, or the breed who won, but the owner's dedication and love for his dog. They definitely don't have the endurance that labs posess, but they are very eager to please. My male is a great tracking dog. He's yet to lose a deer, and loves squirrel hunting. It is a great breed. Sorry to hear that Leo. We also lost one to a brain tumor about 5 years ago. That is a terrible way to see one go, so I know how that made you feel. Guest Anthony Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 (edited) This is Brindy she is 9 years old.... our 4 year old died in my wife's arms last June. It was really hard and Brindy as seen here was really attached to her (her name was Zooka) Zooka died of an enlarged heart. We called the place where we buy all our Boxers and without pause, offered to send us another one of our choice at no cost, they are great. That is how we got Meeka........she is a great pup at one year old! Sorry to hear about all the losses ..... it is still amazing how they come into your life and make it so fun..........
