Any suggestions.............

Need to put a tonneau roll-up cover on my wifes truck. 2007 GMC short bed. It'll take alot of snow and alot of sunshine. She'll be the one operating it, so ease of use is a must. Snaps????? Velcro????

Any advice would be appreciated.............Thanks.

Hot Chick is not an available option............:(

I have a "Bak Flip" cover for my '07 Colorado that I got from Cabela's. It is great and has gone through rain, snow, sleet and blazing sun.

I also got some UV coating and put it on before I installed it!

Works great and if you need to, you can fold it up, latch it in the open position and haul with the bed full of things!

No compaints with it at all!

Torza Top!!! This is what we recommend at the dealership, they install in seconds, they're lightweight, no snaps or velcro to screw around with. Very simple to use!

Check out the video on that link, it shows you how they work. I think we sell them for around $450 at the dealership.

Shaun, that is about what I have but mine is rigid fiberglass. It folds all the way up to the cab in the open position.

The reason I didn't go with the vinyl one it is real easy to cut with a knife and get into!

The only incident I've heard is one of our customers has a french fry/burger joint, he had some cooking oil and what not in the back, well I guess some hungry raccoon decided that's what he wanted for dinner and ripped through his cover to get at it.:D I couldn't help but laugh when he told me about that. Needless to say he got a hard cover shortly after that. :D

Extang makes the one i have on my truck-Trifecta. It has a rigid frame with cross-members for support and it folds up into 1/3rd the size right up over my in-bed box, where you can snap it open. I have never even seen one like this until I got my truck, it's the bomb! It is held in place by these spring loaded clamps, which are a breeze to operate. You unhook two clamps, then fold it up. Fold it down, clamp two clamps, good to go.

Randy has a Diamondback truck cover. That is easy to use and they now have a lightweight model also. It locks easily and you can open just the front or the back as needed.

Randy has the heavy load model to haul 2 - 4 wheelers on top of and he has also hauled a 1500 lb. round bale of hay. I have a pic. I could e-mail someone to post of it. I don't know how to post pics. and I don't understand the computer lingo!

I always worried that the snap-on kind could easily be broken into.
