Weekend plans?

Starting Saturday at 7:30pm our hospital is upgrading it's Electronic Medical Record system. Guess who gets to be at work until it's done and back up around 6am on Sunday? Guess who gets to stay on Sunday and fix the problems that are going to be created by this upgrade?

Ya'll think of me while I am slaving away.

It is NY's last weekend of rabbit and squirrel season.

At minimum, my son Joe and I will be out pounding the woods for tree rats, wascally wabbits and a dash of crow;). My younger sons are into their BMX riding and the offer is there, but I will not push them to come.

If only the wind holds out. I can deal with cold, but the wind is another story.

Yeah, hopefully get a chance to run some beagles saturday. Something has come up every time this year when we were supposed to be going. Me and the girls will be in the woods with some 6 shot regardless of whether or not the dogs make it! Last day to shoot bunnies and squirrels. And, yeah, we'll dust a crow or two as well. Might even spend the night at the camp or even throw some hooks out in the creek.

Leaving tonight for Texas, will get to the house about midnightish and stay there. Wake up in the a.m. and, depending on the wind, either go fishing or hog hunting. Then tomorrow night will head down to Beaumont, Tx and stay with my S-I-L and her fiance. Hang around there till about mid-day and then head back to the house, stop in at the folks' place and visit with them. Saturday evening will probably do a little work around the house. Sunday we will head back to MS around noonish.

Enjoying a birthday supper tomorrow evening for my son's 22nd birthday. He and his girlfriend are heading back to school after that so I'm free the rest of the weekend.

Heading to camp Saturday to do some post season work on stands and we may do a crawfish boil Saturday evening. Hope to hear some birds gobbling on the roost Sunday morning.
