Leo Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 I wrote this song "Slap Toad". It's just an instrumental piece, not one of my silly songs even though it admittedly has a silly name. One man, one guitar and a sackful of goofy acoustic tricks. Sounds much simpler than it is. I'm hoping anyone who plays guitar will listen to it with a keen enough ear to wonder "How did he do that?" Because I had to relearn to play after my right arm was temporarily paralyzed back in 2003, I picked up some oddball techniques to help me play again. This song uses a bunch of these tricks. I've lost some abilities and picked up some new ones. I could have put the guitar down forever back in 2003. I'm glad I didn't. This is still a work in progress but I believe it's decent enough to share at this point. I went from not being able to use that arm to this. The good Lord has been kind to me.
