Our flight leaves at 6 am tomorow and the airport is a 3 1/2 drive from home, so we are going to stay at the hotel beside the airport and leave our car there for the week ( parking fee for the week is included in the room fee ) Most of you may remember........................ this trip is free , my wife won it last fall. We are taking the laptop, so I may pop in a few times while I'm there. This morning, Keaton ( my son ) wanted to know if he could hide in my luggage and go too . As you notice........ stevebeilgard Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 have fun and BE SAFE. there is currently a bunch of bad things going on in mexico, like kidnappings & murder of whites. i tend to think that most of the known tourist towns (i have no idea where you are going) will have better security, but be very careful. i'm guessing you're staying at a good hotel in a major town like cancun, mazatlan, lapaz, etc. good luck, and have fun. but keep your eyes open. A friend of Cara's has a son who is really good with a videocam, he is 16 and has already made a short movie similar to the "Jackarse" movie ( but not as bad as that one lol ), just a bunch of his friends doing foolish stuff . It sold many copies here locally and he gave 1/2 the proceeds to the Cancer Society here He is going to film school after highschool. We never hailed a cab off the street because of so many cab drivers involved in kidnapping. One night it was pretty late and the cab co. we telephoned didnt show up. The plant manager hailed one off the street for me, and before they would let me get in, he had the driver get out and took several photographs of him so in case i didnt make it to the hotel, they would have his pic.
