My new trick is to answer the call, once I realize it is a telemarketer and I have to hit "1" or something to go from the automatic message to a live person I just put the phone down on speaker near the TV or iPod and let them listen until they hang up. The wife came running into the living room to see what was going on. She had the nerve to get onto me for putting them through all that I did.
