NS whitetail Posted April 23, 2009 Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 Here it is getting along the end of April, I should be out on the ocean making a living ........... and this is the third day in a row that it has been blowing a gale No hauling lobster gear = no $$$$$$$$$$$ being made and sitting around is driving me insane Our lobster season closes on May 31 ............ time is running out These last few springs have been pretty much the same, the global enviroment is surely changing. J/K:D haha, they have 150 foot boats , we have 50 footers besides that ... TV can do anything to make things look good when it is blowing and the sea gets really rough, lobsters just don't crawl, they stay put in between the rocks and in the holes on bottom and you will be hauling alot of empty traps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
