The first is a side-mount system that puts the scope a bit out of line with the ejection port. The second is a forward mount. terry264 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Share Posted April 24, 2009 Doc, the side mount is the best of the two for a top eject M-94. Still have the open sites if you need them. You can actually site in your scope initially with the open sites too. The scope will need turned to the left 1/4 turn to clear the chamber opening which will change the adj. routine. (So that the l/r turret isn't interfering with ejection). The adj. change as follows: Hold you hand straight out with thumb up and turn 1/4 turn left. Now up is left, down is right, left is down, and right is up,,,,simple. You will only be about 3/4 inch left of bore so if it's dead on at 100 yds. you would have to go to 200 yds. before it's 3/4 in. to the other side. The one I have is a quickmount of some kind, would have to look, but it works nice and used 3 existing screws in the receiver that are replaced by longer ones.
