NS whitetail
:mad:I just don't understand............. the Canadian people have to work their butts off, pay taxes through the nose so this can happen TORONTO _ Canada isn't looking to wade into the auto business and would rather not have to invest a total of C$3.8 billion in insolvent Chrysler LLC, but the move is necessary to keep jobs in the country, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Thursday. Chrysler has plants across North America, including three in southern Ontario, where the company's Canadian subsidiary, Chrysler Canada, employs about 9,400 people in Windsor, Toronto and nearby Brampton. The government is going to pump 3.8 billion into Chrysler to keep 9,400 jobs going  While the rest of us work and try to make ends meet, the rich get richer ( the CEO's and such of Chrysler ) If Chrysler is in that bad of shape and doesn't make money, then what would be the sense to keep things going and keep losing money

Here's what we middle class TAX paying citizens in the U.S. will have to fork over .. WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama announced Thursday that Chrysler would head into bankruptcy with the aid of up to another $8 billion in taxpayer money, a last-resort attempt to quickly restructure the struggling giant. He blasted hedge-fund creditors whom he said held out for a richer deal.
