Mule deer, Unit 17, 2nd rifle season, Nov. 14 - 18th I don't know anything about the unit. I had actually applied for my son in a youth hunt there over Thanksgiving weekend, and as an after thought made this hunt my third choice, in case I did get it, I could use it as a scouting trip for Jake, which I really expected him to draw. He didn't and I did. I will be going out there in a couple of weeks to spend a few days looking around. I will write a little more about that tomorrow. Looking at 29 on google, when you say desert, you really mean desert. Good luck on your hunts, I hear 17 is supposed to be pretty good for elk. I will be going out there next week to do a little looking around. Should have some pictures to post by the 4th of July if not a little earlier.
