coles
Yesterday i picked up a little yellow lab male. 8 weeks old. I cant decide what to name him. Im leaning towards Goose or Jagermiester. Jager for short. Since Jagermeister means hunt master in german so i like that but i like goose also. What do you guys think? Ill post up some pics as soon as i take some. might take him out to the lake today and see if he likes the water yet.

Alisha
I'm so jealous! Justin and I will be getting a chocolate lab pup hopefully in the next couple months. Justin mentioned hearing that it's best to give dogs one syllable names to help them when it comes time for training. So perhaps that might be something to think about. Good luck with your new pup! Can't wait to see pics!

jesse8953
I don't like goose. If you go goose hunting people might get things confused.Jager is a good name.I had a dog named brandy, now she is dead, I have a dog named whiskey and a dog named gin.Next dogs names are going to be barley and hopps. Good luck on your new best friend.

coles
well guys the name is Jaeger. We lit off fireworks tonight at a family friends house and the lady that lives there is a German teacher at the high school here and she told me how to spell it right. But he is a great puppy. Almost house trained already and smart as can be. My mom took a bunch of pics of him and me this weekend so as soon as she emails them to me ill post them up. I also thought about giving him a one syllable name but Jaeger fit him best and its not to hard to say as opposed to a one syllable name. Got alot of training a head of us.
