JDAWG
Sells licenses over the counter? I'm thinking about taking a road trip this season but don't know where I can go. Any suggestions are appreciated.
c_lou
Wisconsin does, but we don't have any big deer.
Tominator
Wisconsin does, but we don't have any big deer. Ditto for Ohio, the deer, that is.
fly
Illinois may if any are left after the draw. Check with vendors (most Wal-Marts) after October 20th. First come first serve basis.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Michigan does...the hunting is pretty good if you put in the work. Not nearly as many giants as Illinois and Ohio, but there there are a few here and there. If I were to hunt any where in the midwest (if I didn't already live here) Michigan wouldn't be my top choice. Chrud
Wisconsin does, but we don't have any big deer. Agreed. You really have to pay attention though if you are planning on maybe shooting a doe or two. A lot of the DMU's in Wisconsin do not have any bonus antlerless tags this year (I'm not able to shoot a doe with a gun this year because of that). However if you are only buck hunting, you shouldn't have a problem.
Rhino
Kansas had some left over tags in every unit this year. They were available on a first come, first served basis starting on July 20th I think. You'll have to check with the DNR to see how many are left.
