sluggunner
The area I hunt is populated with about 90% grey squirrels and about 7% fox squirrels and about 3% red squirrels. I like the fox squirrels much better so I usually don't shoot them as I am trying to get their numbers up on my land. What kind of squirrels are in the woods that you hunt? sluggunner
Cute...real cute Thanks for the laugh. You need to come up to my place to get a little variety. How far are you from the Wisconsin border?
Randyman
In my neck of the woods it seems the creek bottoms will be mostly Fox Squirrels and the higher ground will be Grays. I usually end up with about a 50/50 mix each season.

We have reds too, and thank God not too many of them because they drive me almost as nuts as the chipmunks.

There are some red ones from time to time and further north in the state we seem to have many blacks too. I hunted those when I was a kid.
