PotashRLS Posted September 12, 2009 Report Share Posted September 12, 2009 We had this young boar come in around 4:20 yesterday afternoon. He was in the 175lb not quite 200lb range we figured. Sorry for the quality of the pic but my camera is not the type for shooting these kinds of pictures. My brother forgot the video camera in the truck.:hammer1: Then at 7:00 I caught one sneaking in behind us and thought it was the same one coming back. WRONG! It was a larger boar pushing 300lbs. He was much more wary and came to the back side of our cedar trees and ate out of the re-fill pail we brought for restocking our bait. That cost me a shot because he didn't go to the bait and offer a shot. I could easily shot him with my .44 Super Red Hawk but didn't. I almost got a 12yd shot at him behind the stand through a small opening but it didn't quite pan out. It was a fun night. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
