sluggunner
Does anyone know about the little icon that saya ABC check in the tool bar when you make a post? When I click on it to do a spell check it gives me a pop-up saying I must downloas a program called ieSpell and that it an online spell checking tool. Is it safe for me to click to download this? I don't want to corrupt my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
ruttinbuc
It is a safe program. I have used it before with no problems. The only thing it might do is keep any spell check programs already in windows from working.
sluggunner
OK, thanks, I don't want to use it if it stops my spell check from working when I create Word Documents as I use it a LOT there. What I have been doing lately is just opening up a blank Word document when I come to the Forums, then if there is a word I am not quite sure I am spelling right, I just type it into the document and spell check it there. The problem is that doesn't help me at all with typos or words that I am spelling wrong but don't even know I am spelling them wrong. God has granted me many gifts, but being a good speller is not one of them.
GWSmith
Thanks for the reminder...I had it on this computer before a recent upgrade in OS and need to put it back on here. In my experience it does not interfere with the spell checker when using MS Word.
